PHOENIX – Phoenix-based advertising agency, knoodle, and public relations firm, ANGLES Communications, today announced the merger of the two companies. The combined, privately-held entity will operate under the knoodle brand, offering full-service marketing-communication services.

“We celebrate a big milestone today as ANGLES Communications formally joins the knoodle family and merges with our operations,” said knoodle’s CEO Rosaria Cain. “We’re ready for the new decade now and together, under the knoodle umbrella, we have the best cross-platform talent, resources and capabilities.”

The transaction is part of knoodle’s growth strategy focused on diversifying the company’s client base and capabilities, with additional new hires and expansion planned for 2020.

Cain will continue as CEO and Ania Kubicki, founder of ANGLES, joins knoodle as Partner and Vice President of Public Relations. Tobin Ernst also joins knoodle from ANGLES as Senior Media Relations Director, bringing two decades of experience from nonprofit, sports, entertainment, hospitality, health and wellness industries.

Cain founded knoodle in 1999 and has grown it to consistently rank among the top advertising and public relations agencies in Phoenix. Last year, knoodle began an aggressive growth campaign by adding John Meyer as Partner and Chief Creative Officer.  Meyer, an internationally known veteran of the advertising industry, has lead campaigns for big name brands such as Apple, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Levi’s, Absolut, Pom Wonderful, TD Ameritrade and Virgin, and held executive leadership roles with Deutsch TBWA, DDB, FCB, Hill Holliday, Y&R, Hal Riney and Publicis.

ANGLES was founded in 2005 by Kubicki and has established itself as an effective image and brand-building PR agency for growth-oriented businesses, government organizations and public entities. The company has a diversified portfolio of local, regional and national clients.

“We have always respected Rosaria’s work and admired her dedication to growing knoodle,” said Kubicki. “Serving together on the board of NAWBO this past year, Rosaria and I quickly realized that we share a common vision of how fully integrated marketing agencies will be evolving in the years ahead, making this a great partnership. This merger represents significant opportunities to collaborate and achieve more growth.”
